CO's Message

It is a matter of great pleasure and pride that Jharkhand Armed Police 3rd. Battalion, Govindpur, Dhanbad has almost completed its 46 years since its establishment. During this long period of time, this Battalion played an important and dynamic roll within and out side the state in securing peace and security among the citizen of the country. In several occasions the gallant and meritorious acts done by the officers and men of this battalion have been well appreciated and suitably rewarded in the past.

Today, when several districts of Jharkhand state are facing the criminal problems along with serious naxal problems, the men and the officers of this Battalion are combating the same shoulder to shoulder with its district counterparts in the front line of the interior part of the districts situated in thick forests and high mountains.

I have full confidence and belief that the officers and men of this battalion will live up to the expectations of the citizen of the country in future, as well.
