This Battalion was organized according to Home Department, Jharkhand, Ranchi letter no.-9/c-201/2000 78 dt. 25.01.2009.
For the Battalion 48.40 acres of land in Sahibganj district allotted and building have been constructed by Jharkhand Police Building Corporation. The construction work is almost complete.
